Congressional Cemetery in Washington, DC

The Burial Place of Azariah Fuller and Some Family

Congressional Cemetery is an old cemetery in Washington, DC that was originally founded because of the large number of people who died while in Washington on Congressional business. It also was used by families living in Washington. Azariah Fuller, the father-in-law of Thomas Y. Conley, was buried here with his wife and several of his family along with some members of the Clagett family who may have been business associates of Azariah.
